I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews. My 13 year old daughter was admitted Monday and they have been nothing but wonderful! Her therapist Laurie, nurses and psychiatrist have communicated with me very well. My daughter sounds very happy and hasn’t complained once. Thank you Linden Oaks for giving my daughter the help and care she needs! I can’t wait for her to be home!

I’m shocked to see mostly negative reviews. My teen went here to decompress for a couple of days, the staff kept me in the loop the entire time. Jackie, Megan and Danika were empathetic, straightforward and knowledgeable. The place was well kept, safe and offered a lot of discipline and support.

Worst place ever. Staff walks back and forth all day long as they have you waiting for hours. They look you knowing you've been waiting for hours there's waisting peoples time. Very Unprofessional.

They have definitely. The place gave me PTSD and I called nine months later to get closure and they said they would call me back two days later, and they still haven’t (I called them around Halloween time) but I left that place worse than when I came in... hopefully that helped
You must lock your phone in a... locker. You DO not have access to this.
Yes
Do you mean PHP? The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a program that lets you attend Behavioral Health Classes at the Linden Oaks Behavioral Health Naperville Main Campus location during the daytime and go home at night as long as it is safe for you to do that. Once you are accepted into the PHP, you must arrive at class within 10 minutes of class starting time. If you don't, the PHP Nursing Station will contact you, then your local Police Department to request a Wellness Check for you. PHP allows patients enough break time every day to take care of restroom visits, eat, drink, make calls on your cell phone to arrange insurance coverage, appointments, talk to family members, etc. There might be days on which you are too busy to make much more than one or two calls and do everything else occasionally. Anything big enough to use like a weapon (pop cans, water bottles, hardback books) and actual weapons are not allowed in class. You can bring cell phone, money, a pen, etc
The adolescents go to school for about an hour at the end of every day for both PHP and IOP. I’m not sure if inpatient follows the same amount of time.
The only inpatient location is at the Main Naperville building, where assessments take place.
Yes
No
10 days or so.
They have a carpet gym
Yes it happens not often though.I would not use their service though.
Not much You can't have your phone you can't have your own money. just basically think what you're allowed to bring inside a prison.
No food. You can bring gifts for your loved one in person during visiting hours or drop them off with the nurse's station on the unit and they'll deliver it to your loved one. In either case, they will search what you've brought, and if anything is a hazard they'll give you the option to take it back home with you or alter it to be non-hazardous (i.e. cutting off the strings of a hoodie).
I believe it depends on the unit, but they're typically once at night.
Yes just walk her in and explain the situation. They will understand if she's suicidal. You could be 12, bringing in a suicidal friend and trust me they'd take care of her, although they will most likely contact her parents right away.
No they offer nicotine gum after you tell them you're addicted to nicotine
I believe so, if you are over the age of 18. I would call ahead if possible to confirm
Yes, at the Inpatient Campus in Naperville
