Emily Deaver and Michael Vernon are two of the smartest, most amazing therapists ever. They have both helped my family tremendously. I am leaving this review to thank them both from the bottom of my heart. They both seem to be in high demand, so I recommend asking for either of them by name directly. I also have faith this clinic is only hiring really good therapists based on my family’s experiences with Emily and Michael, but I must recommend them personally. They are the best of the best. Very intelligent people who you can tell are definitely caring and genuine in their personal lives also. Highly recommend this clinic and it is in a great location also.

I have been coming here for over three years and cannot express how much it has helped me during this time. By doing therapy, I have found more clarity and have been able to go about my daily life in a more optimized and pleasant way. Jonathan’s psychotherapy technique is warm and inviting, and I never feel judged - I can be open at all times and don’t feel I have to pretend to be someone else or pressure to change. Jonathan has a real gift and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to have a better grasp on life and know they have full support while doing so.

Psychotherapy is the process of sitting down and talking to a trained professional about things that are bothering you, or keeping you up in the middle of the night, or something you are unsure of how to deal with. We can help guide you through this process through the use of open, non-judgmental communication to help you feel better and achieve your unique goals.
We do not have a psychiatrist on staff to prescribe medication, but we can provide outside referrals if it appears that medication may be beneficial.
It's hard to know who will be the best fit, but we encourage new clients to look at our therapists’ bios and find someone who has the experience/specialization that you are seeking. An initial session is the best way to determine if you would work well together.
We recognize that people are busy, so we offer hours throughout the day, 7 days a week.
You can schedule your own appointment online. Simply go to our website, click “Request Appointment” in the upper right corner and select a time that works for you. We'll email you a confirmation and your initial paperwork. What are your office hours?
Our rates vary based on the clinician and time of day, but range between $125 - $175 per session. However, some sliding scale sessions may be offered for as little as $80. Please contact us to discuss specific questions.
All of your questions around insurance and fees can be answered by our office manager. Email "Anna [at] pac.clinic" and she will be happy to help you. Nearly all of our therapists are in-network with BCBS PPO and BCBC Choice. We also have a few clinicians who accept Aetna and Cigna.
A number of sliding-scale openings may be available, based on client need and therapist availability. See our insurance page for details or contact us to learn more. https://www.psychotherapychicago.com/contact/
