I booked reservation, 1 week ago, found a cheaper rate on day of pick up for the same location so naturally I booked and received an online confirmed new reservation for the car. I then cancelled previous car. Less than one hour after booking and cancelling previous reservation, the 3001 US HWY 19 N, Holiday, FL 34961 Hertz rental business calls and says they can not fulfill reservation they have NO CAR to give me. This is on the day of pickup. Now I have no car. I said how can that be, I've had a reservation for a week. I cancel and rebook when I see a lower rate. She said because I cancelled and rebooked the day of the reservation, they honor the latest reservation, therefor they have no car on the lot! Makes no sense to me. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Run and go elsewhere. I would rather pay higher now with another car rental company than be stranded without a car on the last day with this HERTZ rental company.

Worst experience ever! I rented a vehicle through Expedia to be picked up at Hertz at 3001 N HWY 19 in Holiday, FL. The gentleman at the counter initially had NO IDEA WHAT HE WAS DOING! I then was greated by another, Roger Costello who also had no idea what he was doing. When I asked for a Mngr, he said they didn't have one. Upon picking up his business card to call Corporate, come to find out, he is the Mngr. Very poor communication skills, customer service, and assistance to accomplish my previously scheduled/paid for rental. I would not recommend this company!!

I don't like this store and I don't care at all for this company. Last year when Hetz was in Bankruptcy, they rented their cargo vans for $17 a day, or $153 per week. I rented for the first week, and would up keeping it for a month. They charged me $1,800 for the month. In addition to that, trying to rent from their website is impossible, and no one answers the phone when you call. I happen to be a Gold Plus member so I called the Gold Plus number and after a lot of rigamarole did finally get a human who took my reservation, only for Hertz to call me 10 minutes later and tell me they had no cargo vans, but for an increased price, they would rent me a different vehicle.

This is second time in less than a year that the vehicle I reserved (cargo van) was not available and I was not informed until I arrived to pick it up. Then they wanted to give me an SUV and charge 700 dollars more. Ridiculous. Can't trust them. I've had the reservation for two weeks. They said Lisa called yesterday. No one called per my phone log, and no messages. I told them it messed up the trip and I can't get hotel refunded. I prepaid the van and they don't want to give a refund and they are the ones that didn't have the vehicle. Such a scam. They are just trying to get more money.

I'm not the car rental agent but rather a former and satisfied customer. If you call the main number they will most likely be able to pick you up. I had need of a rental where they took a car in for repair at a body shop about 4 miles away. Good luck!

They're probably out on the lot getting someone into or out of a rental. Try back at 10min intervals
