It's been a while, but I finally decided to share my experience with the flower arrangement designed by DIRT flowers. I always admired the shop/design studio in Oakcliff, so my husband decided to surprise me with the arrangement delivered to Uchi restaurant in Dallas for our 25th anniversary dinner. I wish I took a picture of the arrangement at that time, but I was so shocked that it took me full 5 years to finally post this review. The flowers were mostly deep red cockscombs and toped with black rooster feathers. If the flow designer considered a wedding anniversary to be solemn day and wanted to express her condolences to my husband, she certainly achieved her goal. My husband did not select this design and fully relied on the designer creativity. The waiter in the restaurant was so confused with this display that he asked if we still wanted to proceed with celebratory menu that my husband had placed in advance. I was so upset let the sad arrangement on the table when we left. I still remember by sadness from 5 years ago. Please discuss a design prior to spending a lot of money with this business. Flowers do express our feelings...

Best flowers around. Yes you will pay a premium, but not your average flowers. Would recommend.

I recently ordered and received an arrangement for my wife's birthday and while the arrangement was beautiful, it did not last. We received it on a Sunday and even with attention to water and air conditioned temps, by the following Wednesday, it was wilting and losing petals by the handful. I guess the worst part of this experience is that I have emailed Dirt with pics to report my displeasure and to date, have heard nothing back. I wanted to give them a chance to respond before posting this review and again, much to my disappointment, it hasn't happened. Try them if you must, but be aware you may too be disappointed by both their product and their lack of customer service in an effort to make things right.
