Been a customer of theirs for years until today. Previously, I’ve always had an issue with them regarding their overpriced shipping labels and materials. Today broke the camel’s back which I will no longer use any of their services, especially drop offs. I had to bring in a box to purchase a label for to ship to WI. 10 pound 18x18x16 box, very lightweight. After the young clerk weighed and measured the box, I was told it would cost $99.30 to ship UPS Ground w/o any extra costs (was told cheapest option available). That is just for the label ONLY, no extra packaging! I instantly knew that price was LUDICROUS for a 10 pound box and almost hard-passed the payment. I asked the clerk if USPS Retail was an option but was told “they don’t accept large boxes like these”. I knew immediately that was false because they can accept boxes that size, possibly larger despite I am an avid eBay seller. I then asked if UPS was really charging that much to ship a 10 pound medium-sized box, the clerk told me “that’s how much UPS is asking to ship”. Yeah… right. I knew in my head that wasn’t the actual price but since the box needed to ship out ASAP, I had to make the purchase. After purchasing the label and leaving with a disgruntled attitude, I had to do some further research to see if UPS was really asking for $100 for a lightweight box. Turns out on the UPS website to order a label for the same UPS ground shipping to the same destination, it would cost $40! Scam artists they are! Fielder Postal’s weight scale and prices are rigged to add unnecessary charges by which are criminal. I instantly felt gullible and forgot about using UPS.com instead to purchase my label. But since I haven’t done any shipping in a while, I originally thought inflation was the reason for the extra price, but it’s not. Do yourself a favor and purchase your shipping labels from an actual UPS/FedEx store (or website), or go to an actual post office for anything USPS. Do NOT waste your time with this business and save your hard-earned dough instead. Anyone leaving positive reviews are scam victims and are unaware about the easy ability to purchase and print your own shipping labels online for way cheaper than Fielder Postal.
