Overall, I have had a really good experience with this office. I have been really fortunate to have a really professional case manager that is easy to work has been the same one for about 7 plus years I have used services. You can tell that this office is well run and I think that over flows from the directors management. There can always be things that would improve the office, but overall this is a well run office. I do think that the main improvement could be communication and respect shown towards clients across the board. While my experiences have been great with my case manager and the director, there are a few incidences where I deal with other people.

Everyone I talked to was so rude! It’s sad that people cut you off when you ask questions. Yes true you get the same questions daily but that’s part of your job so please get rid of the attitude.

Catholic Charities will help with housing. All religions are welcome. They help with rent,deposits and furniture.
Have you tried Salvation army family center was there almost 2o yrs ago with my kids puts you at the top of housing list

Yes, you will need to inform your Housing Counselor and they can send all your paperwork to that Housing Agency. They should schedule you an appointment to receive the paperwork needed for their area.

The hours of Tarrant County Housing Authority 8:00 am until 4:30 pm That is Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday, Friday. On Saturday and Sunday they are closed.
You can live anywhere with your section 8 voucher. You can live in a apartment or house. For example, if your voucher is $800 and the rent or mortgage is $900. You are responsible for the $100 and utilities. Good luck
