I called multiple times trying to find out information regarding Safe Environment training and updating my info. Barbara, the director of the program and her team are useless. They do not follow up on emails, and so many of my questions went unanswered. When an issue occurred at my parish, they refused to step in. Also, the one response I did get from the director was discourteous. It was clear she didn't put much effort into reading my email because her answer lacked understanding of my message, so it was clear she hurriedly skimmed it. I did get a response from a Ms. Cruz in the office at one point who did provide an answer to one of my questions, but also failed to return my calls. In addition to this experience, I sent emails to their info address about two other urgent matters, but they also went unanswered. Of any business I have had dealings with, the offices of the Diocese of Dallas are the most unprofessional and give a poor face to the Catholic Church. I hope I never have any future business that requires me to contact any of these incompetent people. But being a Catholic, it seems unavoidable. I hope they have more suitable staff by then.

I have worked with Cindy Herndon over the years with regards to the schools in the Diocese of Dallas. She is very knowledgeable regarding the school's IT needs, leveraging group pricing for products for the schools and the use of E-rate federal funds for the schools. I have enjoyed working with her as we both have the same goal in mind and that is to help the schools have the best possible technology at the best pricing possible!

Cindy Herndon is one of the kindest people I have met. I went in to see if they had received a specific tax refund and she was so kind to get my information to the right person. She took the time to walk me to my car when most individuals would have not given the time of day. She is the best. Not to mention personable! I 10/10 would recommend meeting and working with her.

I watch mass on TV every Sunday and I appreciate this. Lately I been noticing that the priests are reading from notes and not from the mind and heart. This makes me think that this new priests don't really know the bible that well. I remember priests that would step out from behind the pulpit and preach to the people in front of the alter and interpret the lords reading without notes. It's not the same feeling listing to a priests notes..

Yes.
Don't know yet. Will let you know when I know.
If you have been Confirmed you have been Baptized. If you do not have the name of the Church in Mexico that you can contact them for the records, most churches will accept a signed statement from a parent or Godparent stating that you were Baptized and Confirmed and state the name of the Church where these things occurred. If you need to establish new records in the US you may be required to attend RCIA, but you will be conditionally Baptized and Confirmed.
Treat others like you would like to be treated.
We have mass at st. Elizabeth of Hungary at 7pm.
There was a Catholic orphanage operating at the intersection of Davis St. and Cockrell Hill Rd. at the south west corner of the intersection. It was a private school several years ago. As I recall, the orphanage was run by nuns, no idea what the name of the orphanage was.
You need to ask a parent, or an Aunt, perhaps a Godparent if they are still alive? Anyone who is alive and would have been present or knew the city that your parents live when you were a baby. The Church or churches in that area is where I would start searching. Just contact the churches with your full name and birth date. It may take a while for someone to search the records, but most children are Baptized within the first 6 months of being born. The Church where you were Baptized will not only have your Baptismal record, but should also have recorded when and where you were Confirmed and married if you have partaken in those Sacraments in the Catholic Church.
There are only a few places that say Gregorian Masses. You can google Gregorian Masses and they will come up. I often have Gregorian masses said.
