This particular center is infuriating. They will waste your time. I’ve screened here twice. Both times they never once called to let me know if I passed my labs. The last study I screened for required an eye exam. I called dozens of times and left messages to every number I could find and no one has the courtesy to call back. So I came back up from San Antonio just to walk into the office to see what was going on. They said they’d call me by last night or this morning because the last eye exam is this afternoon. Of course I didn’t get a call and no one will pick up the phone. No matter how proactive you are and follow up, you can only count on them to drop the ball. I’ve never experienced such issues with other clinical trial centers. Absolute waste of time and money. I’m not even mad I don’t get to do the study. I’m outraged at the complete lack of respect and courtesy by the staff. Also, every time I’ve been there in person, there have been people walking in from all over the state saying it’s been weeks/months and they haven’t been paid and had to come up there because no one answered the phone. The answer I always overhear is their W9 was misplaced and they’ll have to wait at least 2 more weeks. Like other people have said in reviews I think they pick and choose who they want in the study and will lie about things. Just sort the reviews by newest, everyone is having the same experience. Don’t waste your time, money or resources bothering with this place.

They are terrible they give inaccurate information .they have attitudes and dont return your calls.the lady told me my lab test is good but my gallbladder how the hell can you check a person gallbladder in a physical? Like what the hell.they dont know anything. If I wasn't healthy I wouldn't never tried to screen for a study.i think they pick and choose who they want in a study and make up lies .or they screw up your lab work.i dont like it and I'm not wasting no time with this study facility no more. I will try one in Austin or san Antonio'.they very short of staff.

For some reason, I have finished this last study months ago and have not gotten paid for my blood draw . Is been months. I have not gotten released from this study i did months ago either. Everytime I call, the rep emails whoever stating I need to be paid and release from study I completed months ago. I'm tryna do another study but this is preventing me. There isn't a number to Contact anyone about it. I need to be paid and taken out the system so I can do another study. I'm in need of money. I NEED SoMEONE WITH POWER TO CONTACT ME ABOUT THIS COMPLAINT ASAP.

I did a screening back in May 4 .,2002 later in May 16 , 2022 I did NOT Dose . Fine . But I have been trying to get to another study in Daytona Beach , Florida and Dallas Labcorp office wont take me out of the system to be clear out.....! its taking 3 months so they lock me out. I havent been able to do a study soon. Terrible service and Etrhics in Dallas , Texas Shamer on you Labcorp Coordinator Rasni Rooman for not returning phone calls.....

Depends on what study u r trying to get into
Call the main number and give your name so they can reschedule you or take you off all together for that study. Call at least one hour before or they may not except you again as a candidate.oh yeah. They check your bmi. Be sure to ask the limits on this in advance because you might be out of range. It is your weight vs height. You can easily go on google and ask for a bmi calculator and do this your self. Dropping a pound or two before you go might make the difference of getting in or out. Fore warned is fore armed ! Lol !!

Unfortunately, they don't. Diets for the studies are study specific. I've yet to come across one that allows a diet outside of the traditional western one. There are a good number of studies that will allow you to only eat what you want from what you're given. For example, for breakfast you may be required to eat the whole meal. Then lunch, dinner, and snack, you can eat as much or as little as you want. As I stated earlier, this changes from study to study. Hope this helps!

They give you a list during the phone interview. For example: Last time you smoked cigarettes ? How many how often ? Last time you drank alcohol ? How often ? Taking any prescribed meds ? Names and how often ? Over the counter meds ? Name and how often ? Heart problems ? Lung problems ? Any health problems ? Will u be willing to adhere to a strict. diet during this time ? No chocolate- carbonated drinks- caffeine- etc. Will you agree to no exercising at this time? No heavy activity Birth control of two kinds must be used if you are not two years past menopause or surgically sterile. Then when you arrive They weigh you - your bmi must be within limits they have Blood work. You must pass. No drugs . Hope this helps ! Oh yeah, everything is computerized so there is no second chances. If you are riding the line on your weight, be sure to wear light clothes ! No heavy jeans or two sweat shirts !
Go on the internet and look up covance paid clinical studies. The site will ask what state. Leave that open and it will list them all. It will also ask what type of study. "Healthy adult " has more options. .be sure to check the bmi limits. You may need to loose a pound or two. I saw a young man refused for half pound too much.

Ive done a ton of studys for years and i have seen with my own eyes extreme vomiting 2 peoples nails fall off a dozen people faint countless rashes on people some severe. Stuck there with em through it all. So its a gamble but the odds are youll be fine.
