In the middle of an install I realized I needed more speaker wire and an RCA cable and ran to this shop as they were closest to me. They carry nice high end inventory for sure but I did have some initial sticker shock at the price for bulk Stinger Pro series speaker wire which is what I was using and hadn't ordered enough from Crutchfield. I was going to bite the bullet and pay the $60 difference but not without mentioning it just in case they might want to readjust their price of their wire for later. To my delight, the associate was willing to price match Crutchfield! I actually felt guilty understanding a small independent shop is going to have higher overhead and need higher margins in their products so I told him he didn't need to go that low and we negotiated a fair price! He even discounted the the RCA cables which I didn't ask for since they're higher quality than the cheaper brand I was using prior. I would totally come back and even be willing to pay a few bucks extra from.the big guys to support a good honest business. Thank you!

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately those two don’t always come together, but here they do. even when I had an issue with the system they installed in my vehicle, they came through like champs. I even witnessed their manager on the phone with some sort of customer support fighting for another customer in the store while I was waiting for my vehicle. You can get anything online, go into a store and get what you can’t…..great and helpful people.

I visited the Frisco location earlier this week. I was looking to get a remote start on my 2000 Ford Excursion. Nothing special. On their website they have a Compustar 915S with installation included for $249.96. This product also included the bypass module. I asked the young salesman about the sale online. He told me I would be spending about $600 when everything was done. I said that’s not right because installation was included. He said that was just standard installation. He said they would have to run wires and would cost more. All remote starts require running wires! This was a bate and switch. They get you in there in the hopes of you’ll be stupid and just comply. I left and went somewhere else where the price was what the price was. I would steer clear of places like this. There are several negative reviews of Car Toys. I would have to agree with all of them. The car audio business is a dying industry. You’re not in a position to be running customers off. I’ll be waiting for your ridiculous deflecting response.

Car toys in Dallas on Preston road delivers poor customer service. Issues from the beginning. They left power disconnected from other items like built in USB and cigarette lighter. The backup camera quit working after 2 years. Went to get it looked at and got an appt for 2 days later they had the vehicle for over 2 hours sitting in the parking lot. When I asked when they were going to look at it. Was told they just found out the camera was bad. Which the camera being bad was ok except there supposedly would be ok. There was another camera they could have gotten from the other store in Dallas. By that time they sold it. I asked what about my truck could they have told me and ordered the part. I was willing to pay it was over a month ago and nothing from them
