just nowNEW I was suspended cuz I was accused of smoking weed on property for 3 months I was told that I was seeing on camera I denied such actions and requested urinalysis to prove my innocence I was denied such request and still assisted on being suspended for 3 months! After calling the supervisor my suspension was then reduced to 3 days for associating or being close by the other resident that was smoking weed! I think the staff there is very rude unprofessional and a bit racist!

There used to be a lady who was in charge of all the cooking here, at Our Daily Bread. I just can’t remember her name. She used to cook good food, which people used to (generally) like. They also used to have a doctor and nurse visit every week, to provide free healthcare to the needy! A Huge thank you to all the volunteers!!!

Yes ODB basically is set up with referrals. They supply two meals, clothing and hygiene but use contact and Sister agencies for everything else
They have a day laborer in Denton where you get paid daily 2 or 3 days worth of work you should be back in Ohio

Yes, we do allow service animals. They do need to be on a lease during the day and in a crate at night.
Hi Cindie, on Mondays beds are received on a first come first serve basis. Guests have the opportunity to reclaim their bed each of the following nights of the week. The emergency shelter located at 300 S. Woodrow Ln will open tonight at 5:30pm. If you need more information please give me a call at 940-566-1308.
Hi Lilith, thanks for reaching out. This is something we may be able to help with. Please give us a call at 940-566-1308 to discuss this further.
You can contact daily read sub they can advise
Our Daily Bread does not have funding for motels/rent/utilities. We make referrals for families with children that need temporary housing. For those we have helped in the past with those needs, we utilized Denton County Barrier's Fund which is a funding of last resort used to end or prevent homelessness. Most cases that we've been approved for, the guest was close to moving into their place, or recovering from a major surgery.
As far as I know, Our Daily Bread is open Mon-Fri from 10am to 12:45pm and 10-12:30 sat. You might (big might) be able to have a member of the church get the items in the morning. But there is no guarantee until Monday
Yes. Please call 940-566-1308.
Fabian is saying that he can use the ID that Our Daily Bread provides to clients as a valid form of identification.
