Adt bought Sunpro who I was a customer of. In order to keep your warrantee you must use them to do your service. When I had hail damage on my roof I contracted with them to remove and replace my solar panels. The system had worked well up till then. They uninstalled and we replaced roof. They came back to reinstall and installed but after they left 3 of the solar panels did not work. I have called many times and they recognize that the panels do not work but They are seemingly unable to come back to fix. It has now been several weeks and I am yet to get any commitment to fix what they seemed to break.

UPDATE: I am updating this review to reflect the companies willingness to discuss the issues and come to a reasonable agreement that worked for both parties. I think there was miscommunication and possible growing pains. Regardless, this reached a decent space. Absolutely horrible. First of all, the ad was lying that I clicked on. It said we'd get a free generator. I reluctantly believed that this was a deal that had just passed but things got worse and worse. We multiple times brought up concerns that things were feeling disorganized. We had 2 appointments for an inspection and the person didn't show up. Then the person said we'd need electrical updates but we couldn't get answers about whether this would cost more. Literally saying to them that we have serious concerns proceeding with something that will cost $50K was simply glossed over. The concerns were further glossed over as we got calls and messages saying "are you ready for your install tomorrow?" We didn't even have answers about the cost difference and what needed to happen with our electrical box. Literally today I got a call from my "advocate" seeing when we should schedule our install (still without questions being answered), followed by their billing sending a cancellation notice with a fee of $3K. Sadly the fee may be worth it to not deal with this company. Believe the crummy reviews. They are real and have the same message. This company is in disarray.

If I could give a rating with no stars to this company that is what I would do. We purchased our panels three years ago from Sun Pro Solar who is now ADT. The panels must be removed and reinstalled by the company or it negates the warranty. We needed to replace our roof and after almost 2 months of phone calls we finally got a date for the panels to be removed. The roof was replaced and now we are not able to get a reinstall date. We now have panels sitting in our backyard and no one can give us a date to put the panels back on. This company has the worst customer service I’ve have ever seen. Once you get someone to actually return your call, they can only give excuses and no answers. So BEWARE, once you purchase your panels and they have your money, you will receive NO customer service.

My first appointment with ADT Solar was very disappointing. I took off work for an 8am appointment. The sales person Jamie Reynolds called 1 hour and 35 minutes after our appointment time to say she was unable to make it due to a flat tire. I should have been in the first group of people she called. I’m assuming the flat tire was before our appointment time so she could’ve at least given me a courtesy call. We could’ve rescheduled and I could’ve went into work knowing I didn’t have to waste a day. I was a customer with ADT Security for over 12 years and was always pleased with their customer service. I’m still interested in getting panels, but I need a rep that is going to put the customer first through the process and even after the installation. I’ve read a lot of disappointing reviews and communicating and taking care of the customer seems to be a problem.

I just started getting them.
At the end of the install they will send you a link to create your user is and get you setup. Mine came the next day.
