I had a very pleasant experience today. Even though my international shipment had to be divided among two people at customer service, they were very courteous and there was almost no wait to get service. I have to give special thanks to John, who was outright fun to talk with while we were waiting for the computer to process the shipment. Lately, some of the brightest customer facing people I've met have been at the USPS offices. I'm not sure if it's luck, but they seem to always have interesting personalities at the desks. Thanks for making my day.

They are open today. Mail delivery may be a little slow due to California fires. One of my packages took awhile due to that horrible disaster
I got u beat, I mailed 2 packages from the same post office on the same day. One made it to NY in 3 days, the other took 21 days get to it's destination, Las Vegas. Tracking was useless, asking for answers was useless... So why do we pay extra for what they call FIRST CLASS?? I'd hate to experience 2nd class service!
Sometimes mail from Burleson will go to near Dallas and they will sort it there instead of in Ft. Worth.
These are questions better asked in person to a postal worker.

Yes. But I wrap my boxes with brown packaging wrap. I bought a roll from dollar tree. They sell the rolls on the bottom shelf by the envelopes.
No. A birth certificate and a government-issued ID should be sufficient for entry into Canada. You will find that entry back into the US is more stringent however.
