Ive been going here for a while now and and it used to be a fantastic place. Definitely one of the better thrift stores in town. However There is one employee who has been quite snappy and tends to make you feel like you are a burden. She’s even rolled her eyes when I asked a question. My biggest problem is nobody seems to know what items are priced!! There will be a box of items labeled $.25 and then the lady at the register will charge you a dollar for it or as when I came in yesterday, I asked the lady at the register how much something was, and she said .50cents and she said and still charged me $2 for it. I also bought a shirt out of the men’s section which was a long and tall and she wanted to argue that it was a womens button up dress not a man’s shirt and I got charged more. It’s gotten so bad lately I’m going there less and less, and as of yesterday I don’t know if I go back. I don’t mind the occasional item being more but my receipt yesterday was $8 more than it shove been. And of course you can’t bring it up with out the guilt trip. I’m sorry but I don’t wanna keep overpaying for items.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I definitely would. stopped in to this place at the recommendation of another resale shop and wow, I'm so sorry I did! Walked in at 3:45 p.m. and was immediately greeted with "we're closing shortly" which totally didn't make me feel welcome at all. But I quickly picked a set of plates I wanted to purchase and was assisted by the General Manager, Terri, who appeared to be less than happy to have to wrap the plates and box them. In fact, she seemed angry at the request as she haphazardly stacked plates, bowls, cups in a box all together and trief to rush me to the register to pay. I simply wanted to know that they were being packed in a way that the set would make it home without chips and breakage. When I commented that to Terri her angry response was "well, we're closed!" As though she didn't like the fact that I was even in her store. I would hate to think that her demeanor was racially motivated but that's exactly how I felt. Feeling uncomfortable I simply told her, "that's ok" I won't buy it and she responded..."well better off" or words similar to that. Disgusting!!!!! And I will never return to this racially biased placed disguising itself as a resale shop.

I personally haven't physically been in this location but I know John (Java John) and he explained what your organization does for people and to me that gets 5 stars any day! Keep up the great work in helping people!

This place is wonderful and the people working and volunteering are caring, warm, cheerful, and will not pass judgment.
Yes they will except everything. The only things I know that they won't are vehicles, motorcycles including mini bikes. That kind of stuff.
How do I donate clothes? I also have a new microwave and a coffee pot! I also have some dishes Can those be donated
At this time we do not have a pick up service but we do have employees at the side door to unload donations.
I'm not sure about your question but I do know that the people that work and volunteer there are very kind and will help you as much as they can.

You have to have gotten help from HH before, like groceries and clothes. So if you're a client of theirs then on Tuesday you ( and only Tuesday) you can fill out a form requesting assistance. They will let you know Friday if they can help.
There is no application. You bring in proof of residency, proof of income or lack thereof, ID's for everyone in the household (DL or SS cards/Birth Certs), & proof of government benefits if you receive them. You get assistance the same day. Hope this helps.
Tuesday 10am-6pm, Wed- Fri 10am-2pm. You must be signed in 15 min before closing to be served that day. Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
They give to the clients clothes and shoes for free. They also have a resale shop that they sale items very cheaply and use the money to help clients more with other items like food and toiletries ect.
Harvest House primarily serves zip codes in the Johnson county area around Burleson. There are a couple of Fort Worth zip codes that are also included. The best thing to do is give them a call tomorrow, Tuesday. Steve
Harvest House has assisted with prescriptions in the past but only for antibiotics. There are stipulations for any financial aid that is given. The person has to be a client for at least 90 days with Harvest House and they cannot have had any financial or prescription aid in the last year. Also, they will need to come in during the client aid business hours on Tuesday through Friday to request assistance. It is not guaranteed they will receive the assistance. It is also based on funds available.
