Staff are awesome! Very helpful and understanding. I was referred here for the open MRI.

The most comfortable MRI you can get. The staff is wonderful! The upright machine is open in front of you and if you need to wear the head coil it doesn't block your face as much as the one used in the regular MRI machine. You just sit in the chair and watch TV! I am so thankful to have found this place and will recommend it to others.

The staff is okay. But I don’t think in the history of EVER that someone has to wait over 24hrs for an MRI. I have family and friends that are worried about me... I’m worried about myself and my unborn child. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. I’m miserably waiting.

Absolutely wonderful staff! They made me feel very comfortable. I experienced extreme vertigo with traditional closed MRI, but I did not get this side effect with the Up & Open MRI. They let you choose a movie of your choice to watch during your MRI, which really makes it even more tolerable. The staff has such great attitudes and are extremely patient. I had to do a few retakes because of me falling asleep and moving but the radiology technician was so patient with me. This is a must place to go if you are claustrophobic or experience vertigo (dizziness) during a traditional closed MRI. Kudos to the staff! This was a pleasurable experience! The design of the machine is awesome as well.

The co pay for a regular MRI (closed) is $325. The co pay for the up and open MRI is $375, so it is a $50 more difference. It's well worth it. The up and open did not make me dizzy unlike the original closed MRI, in which I experienced extreme dizziness and were unable to proceed with the exam. I would definitely recommend this machine over the original MRI...
I choose not to do the open MRI because it takes a lot longer. I choose to try the shorter version of the MRI which does get a little noisy. Here a rack with mirrors are used to help with being claustrophobic in the event you open your eyes, it helps! In my case it was only 15 min vs 45 min in the open MRI. The staff members are awesome and helpful. I am sure you can call and ask.
I had a lower back MRI in the seated position. They were great. Not sure if they can do a hip, but they work with you. I have had several MRIs from my head to my lower back done there.
