We go and watch the daily cattle drive every time we're in Ft. Worth. It never gets old to see a glimpse of the old west when those longhorn cattle are being herded down the street. Highly, highly recommend going to see this if you're in the area!

I always enjoys the Fort Worth Stockyard.

We missed the herd but visited with one man and a single steer. The location of this event in stockyards is a must see if in the area. However the time of the cattle drive is listed in two spots an hour apart I believe thus must print caused us to miss the drive altogether.

Love seeing all The Stockyards had to offer, Cowboys, Food, Pony rides, Horses, Longhorns and lots of Merchandise

11:30am and 4pm every day, immediately followed by a mock shoot-out enactment in the covered rail yard area nearby
We do them at 11:30am and 4:00pm (not 4:30) and the drive takes only approx 5 min so do be early so that you can make sure and get a good spot to see from
There are many areas for payed street parking near by, as well as a couple parking lots as well. If you're looking for free parking, you'll need to park a few blocks west
I think it is 3 times a day. We were at the 4pm about 10 minutes.
They come down a side alley at the corner of E. Exchange and Mule Alley.
Yes unless the weather is not safe like a severe thunderstorm
Not long. It was short but cool . Like the other person said. If you have not been around cattle or livestock it is just a short drive. Walk around a little cause there are miniature horses and small ponies in the pens by the parking lot near the maze thing. It was just fun to walk around and the people were really nice
Most recently Tejas Tip 2 Tip held the Guineas record at 10 feet, 2 3/4 inches. Here is a newspaper article about that steer. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://austin.blog.statesman.com/2017/02/23/this-texas-steer-may-have-the-worlds-longest-horns/&ved=2ahUKEwiT6cjau4LdAhUR5awKHR5AArgQFjAVegQIBBAB&usg=AOvVaw3lHV5-clOBGcDmHnQZQi_X
There isn't one. The cattle are run down the street with spectators on both sides of the street. The shops along the street hope you spend what would be 'admission." Try a real Dr. Pepper made with cane sugar.
