PACK OUT YOUR TRASH PLEASE. Very nice primative campground with great views. Keep in mind theres no running water, no bathrooms, and no trash pickup. Only 30 minutes from lucerne via Bartlett springs road.

I was just up there for a week with a 2020 Toyota Corolla Rental and the drive was fine. It can get super muddy in spots but just drop into a low gear and plow thru it 😂👍.

There is fire damage but the greenery is flurishing wonderfully.
My husband G.W., knows the area well. This was a campground 35 years ago now just a spot to get off the dirt road. Don't try to go though High Valley with your RV without low lock / 4x4. Take hwy-20 past Lucerne and turn right on Bartlett Springs road then climb on gravel, uphill, in low forever. Take the only right onto road 303 then a right at the top of the ridge on 220. Drive south for two miles maybe, the spot is on the right with no markers. Nothing there but a few large trees and dirt. Most notable thing there is other peoples trash.
