lost all respect for lumber yards after today. Their service was terrible. I had to call their distributor for them to confirm they had stock. I don't understand the point of this middleman it was like talking to Cheech and Chong. Overpriced material and took over two hr to discover that their product is 3 to 5 dollars more expensive per board than the big box store. They won't price match. Save yourself time and money and just go to home depot. you can order online just check before leaving. You're welcome :)

If I could give these folks a negative rating I would. I have been a contractor in this town for over 30 years. I have never had any trouble getting a price quote until the recent Covid lunacy and the subsequent shortages. There is never an excuse for poor customer service. I contacted 2 separate salesmen from 84 lumber, over a 4 week period, for a simple lumber quote. They both put me off for 2 weeks. They said it would take 1 week ( if they didn't have to read plans) as if anyone at this company could actually read a set of plans. I am at the point of my customer dropping me because I cannot get them a price. This is a simple request for lumber, not complicated. I actually went over to the Miller rd location and waited in the lobby for a salesman for about 20 minutes. I was passed over by a person who walked in after me. I explained my situation to the clerk at the counter and he just stared at me? Even when I walked out, no one asked to help. I have done business with these people in the past and never had a problem, never again. Steer clear of this company they do not care about losing customers at all. I made a trip to a REAL LUMBER YARD called CRADDOCK Lumber. I walked in and spoke with a salesman named John who answered all my questions and gave me a price on the spot. When the owners of 84 Lumber look back and wonder why they went out of business maybe they can reflect.

Horrible customer service here! Would absolutely never recommend this place to anybody. Initially went here one Saturday morning to see if they had what I was looking for in stock. Well the lady that was working that morning was acting paranoid and being rude. It seemed like she was afraid we were going to rob the place. Ramiro is another rude person there, rolls his eyes. Seems like he doesn’t want to be there. I’m not the type to ever leave bad reviews but honestly what a horrible experience. The DMV will treat you better than these people.
