I would say Matt's is a 5 star restaurant, but they ruined their takeout by moving to online only and limiting what items can be ordered to go and not having a way to modify your orders. Hope they go back soon or I won't be ordering togo again 😭

They don't have an outdoor patio they do have rooms I believe that you can rent for private parties but clarify with management.

The bar area is not open for customers to just drink. There is dinner seating in the bar area, and they are, of course, serving alcohol to diners
They do not but if you call they will tell you if there is a wait
When I called 1 week ago, they did not take same day reservations. Advise contacting restaurant directly.
They had a small.section in the menu that was designated gluten free. Not sure if they would accommodate requests for regular menu items. Excellent food and drinks!
The longest I've ever had to wait was around 10 mins. Definitely worth the wait 👍
For authentic Mexican food try Fonda San Miguel. For some of the best Tex Mex in town try El Patio on Guadalupe.
Matt Jr owned Mattito's and used several of his father's recipes, but had a much more authentic Mexican food menu vs his dad's mainly TexMex fare.. They are both deceased now
