Nice little preserve. Shelter house with tables. Parking lot. One trail out and back, or make a loop by including a short section of the upper Tampa Bay Trail.

One shelter with bensches and trash bin by the parking area. There's an open field and nice size trail thats partially paved. If you're lucky you may see the beautiful peacocks 🦚 running about so try no to spook them with loud noises!

Butterflies and nature galore. Excellent for a jog, bike ride or quick walk. $2 bucks gets you parking all day! Boardwalk, sand, grass and water. Def bring some snacks or always a bottle of water. Lots of horseflies lingering around so careful, they can hurt! Beautiful short trail but with lots to offer!

The portion of trail that starts here and runs through it is quite, quite small, nevertheless being part of the trailing system and birding trails surely could display arrays of birds and animals not present the day I visited yet flora, fungi and others are always great displays of beauty.

There's a bridge that leads over a small creek, but that's the only water area that's accessible from this preserve and there aren't any water birds. Lake Dan and Lake Frances preserves aren't that far away and you're more likely to see water fowl there!
