I came across Honest Eyes as a last ditch effort to find some some great stylish new glasses in Traverse City. I've had bad experiences with Warby Parker and Zenni. They didn't get the progressive in the right place on the lens. And another time, the frames kept sliding off my face. Of course, I sent them back, but I've learned it's just not worth the hassle. I believe there are some things best bought in person with the help of a PROFESSIONAL. I literally combed every single glasses place in TC; all of the big box store optical departments, boutiques, national chains, etc. Wow, what a pleasant surprise Honest is / was. I was immediately greeted warmly by their team (contrast that with waiting 20-minutes to be greeted at one of the highest rated local glasses shops in TC). The team explained to me how they work with customers and gave me great personalized service - it was actually fun! I'm a fast shopper. They made it easy and quick. In no time, I was out the door with my order in. I also had a great feeling about how they helped me choose frames that "fit" me. Their prices are no different than Costco or Walmart, however, in my opinion, their selection is better - and WAY more contemporary. The prices were so good, I bought 2 pairs. Plus it feels good to spend money at a local TC-owned business. I give Honest Eyes my highest recommendation!

So glad I went to Honest Eyes. Staff is very friendly and helpful, not pushy. Katie was very helpful. They put new lenses in my old frames and saved me a lot of $. Didn't know that this could be done. Other places wouldn't do it and only wanted to sell new frames. Well done Honest Eyes!

Since our prices are more reasonable than many places this works out well for a lot of our customers. (Most of our frames are $99 and our lens prices are excellent as well).
