Very dry! Do you run sprinklers at all?

Felt swindled. Terrible conditions. Not maintained and have not watered grass in what feels like months.

It's hard to give a review of the conditions because they were getting ready for overseeding and reworking their bunkers. The course layout was alright but it was only seen by our group forthe first 9 holes, because of the pace of play. We were only a group of 2 and we moved asking fairly well with a group that let us play through; but then we got to the 7th hole where there were 7 guys teeing off. We weren't sure if they were letting a group play through. We called the proshop to investigate, but that wasn't the case. They obviously were all together. The course Marshall did come out but nothing was done and let them proceed. In fact there were another group ahead of them with 6 players. The Marshall said nothing to us at which point we teamed up with another twosome. The next 2 and a half holes took us an hour and 15 minutes! Do the math to figure out what the back nine will take. So we stopped at the turn to talk to the pro shop. We didn't have that much time or patience to finish the round so we asked for a rain check. The proshop staff would not have anything with that because we were on the mark for the estimated nine holes. They totally ignored the fact that we flew through the first 6 holes: and they did not recognize how much longer we would have to endure because they had a sixsome and a sevensome in front of us. We also heard that earlier round in the day were marked at 6 hours. The guy in the proshop, who identified as the manager eventually tells me that, "this conversation is over" and would not engage our talk with us about this matter. We went out to take our bags to the car and the sevensome was still teeing off. I went back in to remind them that if they really cared, then why didn't they break them up while they were outside their door. The "manager" did go out but we just left. They just couldn't comprehend and put themselves in our position and try to make things right for us. It's unfortunate and disappointing, and will certainly keep me from coming back.

Could be better. Nice course though.

Thanks for you question Dan. We don't participate in the Phoenix Public course card. We offer the Arcis Card with benefits at 8 courses as well as our Prime and Club Memberships. You can see all of our offerings here on our website: https://stonecreekgc.com/arcis-players-membership/
Prime members pay $10 including a cart. The usual discount for the Prime members is 50% so I assume it would be around $20 for non-members.
Winter rates, best to call the course and set that up. They could probably add lunch and something else (souvenir) if you ask them. Great track to play!!!
Please confirm with the course. I agree with the comment above about the staff being very accommodating especially if they know you are interested.
I emailed them, and here is their response: The club’s dress code is collared shirts and non-denim bottoms.
Winter weekend rates are around $75 per golfer
$60-$89 right now, for 18holes and cart. They don't have a 9 hole rate. Rates also vary on what time of season ur playing, but these are right now (February 15th)... It is a Public course. Very nice and challenging as well... Friendly and courteous staff.
Contact the club.
No they are not, they are part of Arcis Golf. Orange Tree, Hillcrest and Legend Trail are actually part of the Scottsdale Golf Group...
