I have had two sessions of laser hair removal so far and I’m loving the results! I workers here are so informative and make you feel really comfortable. The sessions were nearly painless and I have seen drastic results already. I really looking forward to going back!

Why cant you exfoliate the area after treament, but can shave. The process of shaving exfolliates the skin. Does it mean no chemical/scrub exfollient, or loofa/physical exfollient as well?

Hi Katie, you can exfoliate the area in between however we don't recommend to exfoliate right after laser treatments until the dead hair follicles fall out. Exfoliation right after laser treatments may push back the hair follicles and may cause skin irritation since your skin is still sensitive after the laser. However shaving is to cut the dead hair so it won't affect the process/results. If you have ingrowns, we recommend to exfoliate the skin before the treatments. You can use loofa, scrub or any physical exfollient. Please avoid chemical exfollient.
