I booked an appt online. I received two text messages confirming my appointment as well as FOUR emails confirming my new account with Hand and Stone as well as confirming my appointment. I show up to my appointment and I’m told from the staff “ Sorry our online system glitches all the time and it doesn’t book appointments properly and no slot was made for you, this is why we don’t recommend using the online service” . No effort made to fit me in despite the company’s error. I just decided to go somewhere who wants my business.

Mad at myself for coming here despite the reviews. The lady was very nice, but I couldn’t even tell she was rubbing my neck, and that’s after I told her she could use more pressure. I walked out of there with more tension.

I should have known from what I observed in the lobby that this appointment would not go as expected. I arrived at 10:50 for an 11:00 appointment. I was told I was fully checked in and asked if I wanted to use the bathroom. After coming back from the bathroom I sat in the lobby waiting to be called. I wasn't called until 10 minutes after my appointment time. Then when I get in the room the therapist tells me my paperwork is not in order and I need to complete an intake (why? I've been with Hand and Stone for 5 years!!) which was never mentioned by front desk personnel. She assured me I would be compensated for the missed time of my massage as it was now 11:15. I filled out as much paperwork on the tablet as I could as she claimed it was giving her problems and then she left. She returned to begin my massage at approximately 11:20am...she was done at 12:06!!!!! Despite telling her the areas I wished to cover (legs, arms, and lower back) and requesting firm pressure, she spent 30 minutes doing a one handed massage focused on my shoulders. Not once did both of her hands touch me at the same time. Neither did she touch my thighs or my lower back. I could have gotten a better massage from my 13 year old niece. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed!!!! I also requested an upgrade to the percussion massage which she used like she was scared of the machine. I am ticked that I wasted 7,000+ points on this massage. I will never go back to this location again. I'm sticking with Hainesport! PLEASE DON'T SEND ME AN AUTOMATED RESPONSE TO THIS REVIEW. I WILL DEFINITELY BE CONTACTING CORPORATE. YOUR SERVICE AND THERAPISTS ALL NEED RETRAINING.
