Esther's Cajun Café & Soul Food

I come by on my way back to Tyler. I been wanting some soul food and couldn't decided between Tppiys or Esthers. I choose Esthers How ever it wasn't whAt I normally get a. The oxtail were tough and I only got 4 of them and one was full of fat. I had to add salt and pepper. I never add seasoning to my food. I was very disappointed with my $20.00 plus meal yesturday and I brought guest from out of town . And we brought desserts that did taste fresh. I'm just saying something went wrong with the food on Sunday.

They all are so I figure I can pay the price as long as the food is good

In my opinion Esthers is okay. I thought they were a little expensive. Taste was okay. I'd rather cooked myself and did after that. My biggest problem I thought it was too salty. They're okay to just get by.

Quite the contrary it does not taste like Grease, mostly it's some of the most best tasting food I've ever eaten.

Probably not it's served cafeteria style already cooked into it. Especially the greens it's not soul food without the pork !

We normally have chitterlings but due to COVID the factories do not have them. So it’s basically a drought of chitterlings

I would suggest that Esther display great customer service for there call in customers as well. Maybe they can assign or hire someone for that position only. If Esther's signed up for Uber eats they should have taken that under considerations.
