We go months without hearing from our worker, our whole process was delayed multiple times due to her loosing paperwork and going completely MIA multiple times. They get 30 days to write a home study after everything is complete, but ours took 2 months. Not sure if it's just our worker our the organization as a whole.

My husband and I adopted our daughter from here. The process was very punitive and focused on jumping through hoops. Even when we asked, they didn't provide support to help us be a better adoptive family; all they care about is us jumping through hoops, which we did. We are going to a different agency for our next adoption that cares more about supporting our family. We know there are legal requirements to follow, but adoption should be about more than legal requirements. We are creating a family together after all!

Questions & Answers

We are interested in visiting South Korea with our adopted daughter and her 11 year old son. Do you have suggestions for us. I'm guessing you no longer conduct the tours for families as you did years ago. Thank you, Mary Shuraleff

Be aware many of the adopted children find out that there birth mothers if shes wanting me up with her are only interested becuse of money its quite a blown that scar for life. You sound like an amazing nother just try and let her see both side of south korea so she understands how fortune she is instead of becoming like so many of these children have thinking they were robbed out of there heritage istead of seeing how how much love they received and what a blessing it was to be adopted by parents like you are! I was adopted as a baby myself i am older than you are but its hard understand the issues amd feeling with this in so many ways my main feeling is understanding for most of us adopted how hard it was and how much it cost shows how much you wanted your child and we are so blessed being chosen like this That's so important to know. If theu dont offer tours for the familys any more try googling it so many children were adopted her from korea thrre has to be something that has post
