Dr. Quezada, Katie Boyd and the entire nursing staff were fantastic. I felt comfortable with them and appreciated the full explanations and options provided. I will definitely recommend this doctor and office.

Dr. Quezada was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a doctor. I was going on 7 years of chronic pain from a urethral stricture and was told she could help with it. My symptoms were extremely painful urination with spasms in the urethra. I had been diagnosed by 2 gynecologists that had seen firsthand how bad the stricture was. I was so excited to meet Dr. Quezada and get this second chance I’ve been desperately waiting for. She comes into the exam room and doesn’t formally introduce herself but starts rattling off question after question. It really threw me off. I started stumbling over my words scared I was going to say the wrong thing and she wouldn’t be able to help. After further examination she said it was bladder spasms and recommended bladder instillations. I explained to Dr. Quezada that the gynecologist had been putting me under anesthesia for urethra dilation and even that had become a problem due to a blockage in my urethra. This is why these gynecologists had suggested it was urethral stricture. I told her I didn’t feel comfortable doing these bladder instillations. She actually said, “you tell me what I can do for you.” That was it. She walked out of the office. I was in tears. I later did the bladder instillations at the gynecologist office just so we could continue moving forward. We used a pediatric catheter and I had to take Xanax for the anxiety. Once a week for 10 weeks was recommended. I made it to 3rd week. Out of 3 instillations only 1 was a success. The nurse could not complete the other 2 because every time she tried inserting the catheter it would get blocked by spasms. After this I realized she was not the right urologist for me. I did find a urologist that that knew exactly what I had which was a urethral stricture. Only 10% of urologist specialize in this area since it’s such a rare disease in women. Apparently, Dr Quezada has never dealt with this before or she would have known better. Dr Quezada didn’t care to help me or stand by me to find a solution. She treated me like I was part of an assembly line and not a human being whom was suffering from an immense amount of pain. In addition- if after doing some research and feel like you have symptoms of a urethral stricture. Please look up Dr. Craig Hunter located in Las Vegas. He is amazing!
