10 strs for care and compasion. Our shepard was sick and we took him here, to our surprise he had cancer. Our dog was family and my kids grew up with him from birth to teens. It was hard and they really took care of us. They made our dog comfortable and made time for all our family to make it down to the office to our say goodbyes. They comfprted my kids amd made sure we had all the time we needed. To my surprise a week later their entire office sent a signed sympothy card. Just made a really hard time managable.

Sometimes people have their dogs to the vets because they're sick, if your dog didn't have all the shots including the bordetella. It is possible that your dog got it either from the dog that was in there to be seen or that your dog got it from somewhere outside if you let him go to potty before you took him in to the vets. Not sure what the timeframe is for your dog getting the cough but if it showed up the same day or the next day which isn't clear in your post then I suspect that your dog had been exposed to it previously the bordetella is very important to give your dog and it is also important to give them their parainfluenza shots. I wonder when you took your dog back into the vet's office and your dog was coughing did you sit out in the waiting room before you saw the vet or did you keep your dog in the car? I guess that would make it understandable if your dog was coughing that other dogs that were exposed just as I suspect your dog was.

Warm Hearts allows you to drop in with out an appointment if your pet is sick. They prefer you are in by 8:30 for drop ins.
I am not sure if the cost i havr a 200 pound dog and it was $250 you could maybe call and ask?
