My waiter was amazing!!! I wish I got his name, he was so attentive and professional. I was a party of two and had lunch around 4-4:45. I ordered the new cilantro-lime carne asada entree. It comes with Spanish rice, which was tasty, cooked well and nice balance of spice. It also comes with black beans but I substituted with fries, which is always great and fresh. I don’t recommend the carne asada though. Very dry, and chewy.

Ate lunch with 2 friends at Chili’s Casa Linda in Dallas 3/18/22. Food was good, but tried to pay with a credit card with the Zoosk tabletop terminal. The screen froze at some point. The waitress was overworked, with too many tables. We waited at least 5 minutes for help but could not see any staff around us. We had to leave, so I withdrew my card from the terminal and left cash on the table for the bill plus tip. The charge showed up on my credit card bill. I talked on the phone on 3/27/22 with manager Carlos, who said he would contact their home office and that I would either receive a credit to my card or a call back if they could not reverse the charge. I received neither. Contacted my bank and was recently informed that they would not reverse the charge because I had no documentation that I had paid cash. Overall, a bad experience.

Food was delicious, but service was truly terrible. We sat in the bar area. The bartender had no idea what 8 beers he had on tap. We ordered our food and he never spoke to us again. When food was dropped off, we were not asked if we needed anything. We never received waters or chips/salsa. Our drinks ran empty and he never came back. He was talking on his cellphone behind the bar. Never will come back to this location.

The service was not what I am use to at Chili's. The Mesquite, Towne East location rocks with its congenial and efficient customer service. The Casa Linda location was far from courteous, and or neither, efficient. The food on the other hand was really good and the company I was dining with made up for the snottiness of our older Hispanic waitress. All in all, the kitchen service and food served from the gentleman from the kitchen area made my visit worthwhile.
