I used to work for them and they are very caring for the children. They plan a lot of fun activities and they care how the parents feel. They update through the day. Also I’ve been and each classroom and have not once seen a kid unhappy with their teacher and the activities they are doing. My son now attends there and has advanced so quickly in just the short amount of time he has attended.

My son has been going to Smart Start since he was 8 weeks old, he is now almost 3, and I absolutely love it here. Every so many months the parent/guardians are given papers to fill out asking what Needs to be worked on that the child could be having trouble in and also anything new you would want your child to learn. My son loves all the teachers he's had since being there. He has made so many friends too. I know every morning when I drop off my child, he is in the best care!

Every employee at Smart Start Childcare must pass a fingerprint background check and have a high school diploma. All Smart Start teachers are certified to administer CPR and first aid. Most of our teaching staff have additional education or training in childcare as well as experience. Smart Start is a Step-Up-To-Quality rated program, which means we adhere to certain standards.
Tuition is based on age group and for school age children, it depends on the hours of care. Please call (513) 353-2700 for an accurate calculation, accepted methods of payment, etc.
Smart Start is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. If the holiday falls on a weekend, Smart Start may observe the holiday by being closed either the preceding Friday or the following Monday.
Smart Start makes every effort to be open on days of inclement weather, even when public schools are delayed or closed. We notify parents via our app, Brightwheel, in the event of a closing or delay.
Smart Start is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. We do require that children arrive by 9 a.m. More details and instructions for reporting doctor’s appointments, etc. is provided in the Parent Handbook.
We offer childcare for infants as young as six weeks to children age 12.
