I've been taking riding lessons here for about a year now, and had the opportunity to ride during your "down" time. I was in a class on Thursday evenings and our instructor was Jana. She was absolutely amazing! She was very thorough on making sure that we, her students, understood the importance of correctly tacking up and taking care of our Horses, and how to do it safely. Her teachings of riding were impeccable! I learned so much from Her in a short amount of time. Thank you Jana for making that class so enjoyable to be in! Hope to be able to ride with you again! Kind staff, professional teaching, nice atmosphere, well trained horses...I had a really good experience to learn how to ride and communicate with horses. Especially Jana is a hard-working and diligent teacher. I highly recommend this school.

I have been working for WWRC for almost 3 years now. It truly is a sanctuary for me where I am surrounded by amazing animals, great coworkers and volunteers, fun students and their awesome family members. This place transforms me each time I pass through the gates. All pressures and stresses of life vanish and I want to thank WWRC for creating and maintaining such a special place for us to enjoy and escape to. I decided to post this review not only to recognize my great place of work but also some people who impacted me on my journey to be an instructor. Just to keep it brief, Charley and BJ recognized and voiced that I should pursue teaching, Sammy was my role model when I assisted her few years ago during our spring horseback riding camp, Moey believed in me and was available pretty much 24/7 to answer any questions (I think this woman doesn’t sleep), Taylor, Sarah, Xan and Marissa sharing their teaching techniques that I had an opportunity to observe and then incorporate some into my own personal teaching style. I must be one lucky instructor because my students are always well behaved (thank you parents, grandparents, guardians), eager to learn, hard-working and that makes it so much more enjoyable to teach and share my knowledge. My goal is to create safe yet challenging, fun but educational classes where students can receive honest feedback while being encouraged to become the best they can be. I like to teach horseback riding technique that makes it enjoyable not only for the rider but also tolerable for the horse. Providing top quality lessons that meet and exceed your investment and expectations. Mostly I want to thank all of you for your wonderful reviews. I appreciate it mostly because it is not only a feedback but also a validation that we have a positive impact on your children teaching them not only horseback riding and horsemanship but also emphasizing safety, positive attitude, patience, persistence and hopefully much more that will translate into long lasting life lessons. Also thank you for taking the time to write your reviews. I know quite well how pressed we all are for time and I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Thank you for being a part of WWRC. We all are the ones that makes this place so wonderful! Jana, WWRC Instructor.

What's the cost of a riding session ?

Yolanda Allen | Oct 11, 2017

They are $31 a lesson for group lessons and they are usually 12 weeks. If there is a show or holiday one of the weeks and no lessons then its a bit cheaper since you aren't paying for the one week. If you have to miss a lesson you can call the office and reschedule for the same class on one of the other days its offered.
