This place has a great Boubon bar and great pizza. Best Baymont ever. Totally renovated and right on the lake. They have covered beds on the lake for you to chill on for free. Enjoy!

I realize all hotel websites use wide angle lenses to make their rooms look bigger, but this place wins the prize for most deceptive. They also don't mention that the double rooms do not have a view of the lake. The staff was courteous and helpful, and we were able to cancel our reservation on the spot.

Positive: Beds were comfy. Walls were thick. Staff were all amazing!!! Beautiful location& great price Negative: Shower had a slow drain . But otherwise it was great

I truly feel so bad for the staff who works at this hotel. When we visited, we were informed by a gentleman who I assume is the manager that they were extremely understaffed and that he didn't want to be working as hard as he was that particular weekend. In my experience, lacking staff members tends to reflect overall work environment and also how staff is treated and paid. We were told by the manager there were only a few staff members available that day who were cleaning/preparing the rooms and that our room wasn't ready just yet but he would send us a text message when it was. This was at 3pm. We waited until 7pm before calling the front desk to see if our room was ready, and it was. We were exhausted by this point in the evening and frustrated. Our room may have been ready hours earlier, but we were holding off from checking in because we were told we would receive a text when the room was ready. No text from Mr. Manager like he promised. Honestly, the lobby, lounge, exterior, and bar looked super nice, but the room itself was super dated. The furniture is very dingy and the amenities are bleh. Also, there was a door in our room that leads to the room on the other side of the wall, so we could hear the guests in the next room all night & we weren't able to get any sleep because of it. Hot Springs is our favorite place to visit and we have stayed in so much nicer places for the same price. I seriously doubt we will stay here again unless it is a last resort. Bad vibes all around, and the remaining staff at this location deserves a pay raise for what they probably have to put up with every day.
