The owner was very friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. I had the best sleep I've had in weeks thanks to the extremely comfortable mattress! If you forgot any supplies, he has the cabin stocked with pretty much anything you'd need. If you have to go to the store, there's one about 10 miles from here. I wish we would've known about this place a long time ago because it's less than an hour away from our home, so this made for a perfect weekend getaway! We're already planning our next trip there!

Had a wonderful Christmas Eve in the cabins. Very quaint little scene, enjoyed sitting out in the porch and listening to the sound of the river. The cabin we stayed in was very cozy, it is the perfect getaway spot. The owner was very helpful and friendly, too! I definitely recommend staying at Thigpen’s hideaway!

Great camp sites, easy access, clean, full hookups, fire ring, picnic table, lots of shade and my favorite part the camp dog. I didn’t stay in the cabins, but I looked them over and they are very nice. I love the front porch overlooking the Cossatot river. Great service from the owner. Very good experience and plan to do it again next year if not before.
