Whichever state the company is located is where they pay unemployment insurance this is the State you file in.
Trying to make an appointment
You have to apply online or over the phone. The career center helps with jobs and resumes also has other resources. Once you're collecting unemployment you'll be set up for organization and a person to help you get a job. I didn't need any paperwork to apply.
This is a technical question you need to speak to one of their administrative persons. I was there only to asist my friend who is not computer savvy.
Hi Pamela! Unfortunately, we do not have a VA Rep onsite right now, we are in the process of hiring one! I would contact the next closest office (Lexington or Louisville) and see if any of their reps can meet at our location! If you have any more questions, please feel free to call 859-292-2639 and we can help!
At this point you should go to the Covington unemployment office at 1324 Madison from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mon to Fri. Ask for Mr. Fields. Make sure you have filed on your end properly. If you needed to post jobs make sure you've done that. Good luck
It's difficult getting anyone on the phone. I would suggest making an in person appt thru the website. Lots of people are in wait..
Depending on your worker they don't take the social security cards. Only certain workers will accept social cards. Take a bill in your name also.
I have the exact same problem. I've done everything I can think of emails calls and I have not talked to anyone. I think my next move is to contact the federal department of labor. It is ridiculous that I haven't been able to talk to anybody in 6 months.
No they are not. It's a waste of time going there so if I were you I wouldn't even waste my time
Is there anyone out there knows what the hell's going on
Good luck
No
It says it is. I went over on tuesday and it was closed. Sign says it open for in person may 18.
There is free parking
No they dont ,not here but you can do it at gateway
Amanda, we do not drug screen, however we let employers drug screen on site. It would depend on the employer you wanted to work with, as every drug screening is different.
Debbie, work registration takes roughly 20 minutes, depending on your skill level on the computer. You will need to register on focuscareer.ky.gov and create a resume, then print it out and bring it to our Covington location, we will stamp it, then you will return it to DCBS!
R.L., unfortunately, unless you registered on our website and created a resume, we do not have access to your work history and dates. The Social Security office may be of more assistance, as they can access your tax history!
Nicholas, unfortunately, we do not have a Vet Rep currently on site, we are in the hiring process for one right now! We suggest reaching out to the Lexington or Louisville office and seeing if their rep can meet you at our local office!
