The people in charge of Section 8 were very helpful.

Great people, easy to work with. A heart for community. They have lots of information for families to become self sufficient in these trying times.

My transportation there and back was beautiful no problem with Uber but the housing authority office is on lockdown and no one seemed to know my appointment today I had to call in and it only took 10 minutes for what could have been done through the mail everything because of covid-19 is a mess in America

The housing Authority of Covington has made sure I had housing for my children and I throughout hard times, Gabriella & Veronica in the main office, these ladies have went above and beyond as well as Ms. Emma that works at the Latonia property thanks so much to all that work everyday to keep affordable housing going!

You should ask the housing department and ask them. But I'm pretty sure they are.
Hello Shannon, Please call 859-292-2188 or visit the www.covingtonky.gov website; more specifically: https://www.covingtonky.gov/government/services/neighborhood-services/housing-choice-voucher The Section 8/HCV program is run by the City of Covington. (They are a separate entity from the Housing Authority.) You should be able to find a button for online applications there. I hope that helps!

I would call the HUD office in your area. From what I've been told I think that you can switch states but I know that you can switch counties after a year. I would call your HUD office and ask them or call Kenton county HUD and ask them how you go about doing it. I know Kenton county is still open but Boone county is closed due to budget cuts. They don't know how long the freeze will last. And from what I heard Campbell county is closed. I'm not familiar with any other counties. Hope this helps you.
Yes you can but if you have a Section 8 certificate, I would keep looking, I just left a efficiency apartment on June 1st
