Auto fits downtown

I've had to put 3 alternaters on my nissan in less than 120 days! Is it a manufactor issue, do you think? Or what could be causing this musical alternated?

I would replace the plug to the alternater. Sometines they are old and moving while the car is running which causes arching. That will destroy an alternated in a hurry.
