My family and I waited for our food for over an hour, when we got our food it was cold and not good at all. They told the table that was there before us that they ran out of fries when the got their food. When we got out there was one plate that came with fries and the rest was their choice on sides. The owner sat at the bar the whole time while the kitchen seemed to be backed up and didn’t come over to any table to say sorry about their service.

Our first time there because it is under new ownership & hoping for better than we had heard about the prior management and food. The service was very good , the location was pretty by the lake. The food was good, not great, but large portions with good prices. The drinks were pricey, $8.00 for a vodka tonic.

A group of us stayed there for our annual crappie fishing trip. First time to visit Orleans Trail Resort. Supposedly new owners and management, we are not going to be staying there again. Lake location is great. We rented a 2 bedroom cabin, smelled of mold and musty, very bad, had rented for 2 nights, only stayed 1, were trying to decide in our group if we could get refund, for at least the night we didn't stay. The guy in our group that made arrangements didn't think that it would do any good, because we had to cancel renting one of the other cabins, because of family emergency, they told him not enough notice, still charged us for a full day reservation. We could understand if it was a weekend and they're booked solid, but us and one other couple only ones at whole resort. Hopefully new owners and management will get more accommodating to guest, but our group will be finding another place to stay. We liked the lake and location.
