So glad this exists. Good glass.

This helpful to have, since my building does not have recycling. There is someone on site to help if you have any questions. It's also helpful to have your recycling pre-sorted before you go.

No paint
No batteries
I have been there and do not think that any plastic bags or plastic film are accepted. There is a large bin for plastic containers, milk jugs, water bottles, clamshell packaging etc.
No tires of any kind.
No
They don't seem to take any liquids like paint etc so I'm guessing no gas. Sounds dangerous
No they do not. Instead leave metal chairs next to your garbage bins. Metal collectors will often take it.
No they do not
No sorry
They do not. If they are flat, plasma, led and newer type, best to donate. Old, square boxes have to be discarded elsewhere. Check with Chicago or suburban "public works" sites. There are neighborhood postings which discuss selected days to drop off particular electronics.
I'm not a representative. A suggestion would be to walk the park, searching for loose branches on the ground. You could also call and speak with Peterson Park management, to find out when they send out park workers to prune trees. The city routinely does this with park works and the cut branches are left on streets for shredding. Prior to shredding, residents are allowed to take branches, trunks, etc. *Free wood for wood burning.
"The Illinois EPA and all states except California agree that alkaline batteries can be safely disposed of in the trash. Disposal: Alkaline batteries are the only batteries that can safely be placed in the trash cart. No batteries of any kind should be placed in City recycling carts."
No, unfortunately. I believe that the City of Chicago has a designated can drop-off center .
This site is for recycling only. They do not buy anything.
Only if I know the answer! Otherwise I'll say I don't know.
Yes!
