DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!! I had the absolute worst experience here than any other apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. Read all the comments; they are all accurate. I had left a review about a month before moving out, and Joy the manager basically told me to also remove review. Another woman’s review said this happened to her as well. This is unacceptable. We have the freedom of speech. Maintenance as well never asked my consent to barge in as they DID do at the beginning of my lease which I made clear was in complete violation of my lease and they ever did again after that once I talked with Joy about how inappropriate and illegal that was. The walls are literally paper thin, you will never get a night’s rest and can never work remotely and whatever you do, you will constantly worry that you are bothering your neighbors. No privacy. WHEN I FIRST MOVED INTO MY UNIT, THERE WERE MISSING APPLIANCES, RIPPED SCREENS, AND BLACK MOLD UNDER MY KITCHEN SINK AND N O N E OF IT WAS EVER FIXED BY MAINTENANCE. EVER. The walls are disgusting. The cabinets moldy. The carpets outdated and tearing. The hallways smell of trash. And the “valet trash” platen picks and chooses when they want to take people’s trash so there’s always a fresh scent of rotting trash throughout the halls. The cops are almost weekly there for petty crime. The pool is disgusting and rarely cleaned. Save your money, time, aggravation, and live somewhere you can be proud to call your home and have company over.

Overall, had a positive experience living here for 2 years. They raised the rent ~30% in 2022 so I had to move, but it is a nice complex in a great area. Biggest negative is they switched the payment process multiple times and would charge a late fee when the automatic payment glitched due to changes they made. The management office is not very responsive and rarely responds to emails. Grounds and pool are well kept.

Poor communication - water randomly shut off today, no notification from maintenance or leasing office. Our bills are always paid on time, so that's not it. Called office- no response. Still trying to get in contact with them to see what is going on. Very inconvenient. Update: Thanks for the clarification and reply management.

The apartments could be more updated, the main hallways in the buildings NEED new carpeting, my buildings front door didnt always lock so anyone could walk in, trash valet service was not consistent, you could hear upstairs neighbores but it wasnt horrid just loud music or TVs, sometimes the parking situation was rough, the rent increase was way overpriced compared to what you get for the price. On a good note, the location was amazing, close to so much, building was by the forest preserve so loved being able to walk to Whalan Lake but SO many bugs on the patio was a downside. Honestly all experiences with maint were good. ALSO stolen packages!! Literally could not get packages delivered to my building, if u werent present for them to hand off a package u had to go to USPS to pick up your package, super inconvienent
