Customer service folks were great! The vehicle was not as great. We had reserved a mid size SUV. The one we got was in questionable shape - the gas cover was missing, and the heater was inexplicably very slow to heat (it was freezing this week in Missouri, so kinda a bummer). The vehicle was cramped and hard to get in and out of. Not our best experience at Enterprise.

You can't rent a car one way anymore! Tragedy that they are not allowing this. My husband and I traveled out of town, broke down and needed to rent a car to get back home. Was not allowed. Round trip only! Can you imagine how scary? Bad service because cars were available

First, I rented a car from the Texas Ave Enterprise while my car was in the shop. That process went smoothly. Six days later while on the highway with my two year old that car broke down. I sat on the side of the highway and waited until Approved Towing came to get my car. Enterprise/ AAA first informed Approved Towing to pick up the new rental car from the Columbia Regional Airport and then come to pick me up. That process would have added at least another hour on to my wait. I asked Enterprise if there was any way to expedite that process as my child was getting upset about the car shaking when big trucks drove by us. Enterprise informed me to call the local police to come pick me up, but then reminded me that I should not abandon the vehicle. Eventually, I got the car to start again long enough for me to pull off the highway. No more frightened two year old. Approved Towing decided to pick me up and take me to the airport to pick up the new rental. Again, this saved me about an hour. When we got to the airport the man said they didn’t have a car for me. I called Enterprise corporate and the Enterprise employee on the phone argued with the Enterprise employee at the airport. Eventually, the employee at the airport refused to release me a car despite having multiple on the lot and shown as available in the system (per the employee in the phone). The in-person employee stated that the system never shows the correct number of fleet. I had to call Approved Towing to come back and take me home. I called Enterprise on my way home and they told me that they can call me an Uber to go to work in the morning. I informed them that I have to take my child to daycare and inquired if they would provide an Uber then. Enterprise then told me to call them at 6:50am tomorrow morning and they will send me an Uber to get to the Enterprise lot. I asked about car delivery because I have to get my son to daycare and they said it would take between 6-7 hours to deliver a car. At this point, it looks like my two year old and I will have to get in an Uber tomorrow morning sometime after 6:50am. Hopefully, Enterprise can get me a car in time for me to take my child to daycare and make it to work by 7:50am.

I've rented two cars, one for most of August and the other for most of Sept. 2017 from the same location. The vehicles have been in good condition, staff service has been good, and price is reasonable. Matter of fact, this last time I noticed an increase in the daily rate, and the staff gave me an upgrade, which I appreciate. I will continue to use Enterprise, but also will try with my first choice of National Car Rental that I used for years. However, a couple challenges are the restricted hours the local office is open, but also one of the weird things is the billing process. For both of the separate months I was to be billed, the company automatically places a hold (pre-billing my bank account) for the total amount but with an additional charge of around $200. I remember the first time I rented the car and the staff told me there would be a $200.00 deposit, which would be deducted from the final bill when I turned the car in. For both of these the $200 was added on to the total amount, which was then placed on bank account for about eight days then removed by the company. When I turned in the cars at the end of the rental period, the bills were accurate without the extra fee. Just a weird policy when you rent a car for a month; maybe, this would be appropriate for renting a day or two? Yet, cars/service/daily pricing was overall good.
