Got some Primose Candy Co black licorice taffy at my State Fair. It is so deliciously chewy yet creamy. I wish I had bought more flavors!

Hello, good morning, I'm looking for work at night, thank you blessings.

Can the public shop for candy here

Ellie Pett | Oct 11, 2017
SASQUATCH | Oct 10, 2021

No, but they list their companies they do private labels for on their website,(this means they supply the candy and the companies sell it under their name) which consumers can buy directly from. They also sell Christmas candy to stores around the US during the holidays.

I love the candy dish candies. While reading the ingredients I noticed the statement "Produced by genetic engineering". How is genetic engineering used in this product?

Its probably in the flavoring. Genetic engineering isn't inherently bad. Corn is an example of something that has been genetically engineered though hundreds of years of farming. Corn used to be very very small and now its the size we see today. This was done by selective breeding. Just like how dogs were bread into certain qualities to make different breeds. Today, we have the knowledge of which genomes will be inherent and can even manipulate DNA to have more desirable qualities. This doesn't mean the food is harmful because it wasn't explicitly found in nature. Even humans have been developed and changed to have more desirable traits over millions of years through natural selection. "Nautral" is a word thrown around to make you spend more money and scare you. The only thing that's harmful about this candy is the sugar content of you eat too much. Flavoring obviously doesn't occure in nature a few carbon structures were probably manipulated, all under the watch of the FDA'S testing

Wish you would make the Christmas hard candy year round.....love it but can't find it other than Christmas...do you stock in stores other than Christmas?

SASQUATCH | Oct 10, 2021

They don't for obvious demand and profit reasons. I found they're candy at Gabe's and Marshall's around Christmas. They have other companies they do private labeling for and list them on their website. Consumers can buy directly from those companies so you should see if any of them carry it

Will they be hiring people?

Yes

We are a small grocery store in the UP of Michigan. We have been looking for your black taffy as our distributor a company called Hackney out of Grand Rapids Mi. does not carry it. We would like to be able to order your products. Any suggestions?

How do we find a specific candy

The candy looks like the old fashion, but the taste is definitely not the same. It looks good though needs more sugar and it's own taste. To me it all tastes the same. Where are the chocolate straws. I don't know about the filled. Not Good.
