Ok this place is trash as well as its affiliate surgeons who are completely overbooked and unable to provide the appropriate post surgical follow up care. My significant other had surgery and was told he needed to call and schedule a 2 week follow (I’ve had a few surgeries personally and have never been discharged without a follow scheduled but ok..) we called to schedule a follow up and the next available appointment is in February! They eventually scheduled him for a month (not 2 weeks) after surgery but I would not recommend this practice or getting surgery at Highland hospital (the surgical experience was wildly disorganized expectations were not clearly laid out before or after surgery). The words “I hate it here” are not strong enough to express my displeasure.

please don't go here, there are other nicer medical facilities to use. i made an appointment because they had sooner availability than anywhere else, had to reschedule it once to the week after. well after going i can see why they had availability when most places are booked months in advance. i went in and firstly the front area is awful. there were so many weirdos standing outside the building and staring, then inside literally every receptionist desk had a patient in front of it, fighting with the receptionist. it was such a loud and unprofessional environment. then as i was waiting the woman at the far end was calling me over and bc of all the yelling i couldn't hear her right away, but she decides to make some comments about me and giving me attitude which was really uncalled for. and then she tells me my appointment wasn't that day it was the next, and that the appointment got cancelled anyway. i never cancelled my appointment and i know for a fact it was on that day. she then tells me the appt was cancelled by me which is impossible on my end unless i called ahead which i didn't. you can't cancel appointments online. so they cancelled my appointment without telling me, the waiting area was a stressful experience, and i'm sure the doctors are fine but i wouldn't even get that far honestly. based on what i saw i feel as though i would have been rushed in and out without my concerns addressed. i would rather wait months for an appointment than go here ever again.

I’m in need of a new PCP so I scheduled an appointment here back in July. Like most places, they were booking at least 2 months out, and the soonest they were able to get me in was mid September. I was hesitant about trying this place due to the poor reviews, but most of the reviews seemed to be about the front desk staff and not the providers themselves - most of the providers were spoken highly of in reviews. As someone who has previously worked in a front desk position at a U of R outpatient office, I knew that front desk has a pretty high turnover rate, so I decided to give them a go in hopes that they would have better staff by now as opposed to when many of the reviews were written. Fast forward 2 months to today and I was checking my MyChart because I knew I had an upcoming appointment with them and wanted to double check the day/time so I didn’t miss it. However, when I was looking at my upcoming visits, it was nowhere to be found. I then called the office and asked what was going on and they said my appointment had been cancelled because the doctor was “busy” that day. They transferred me to the new patient intake line who told me the appointment was cancelled 2 days after I scheduled it, but no one bothered to call and let me know. They then added that the doctor was no longer accepting new patients, but that they could schedule me for a new appointment with a different doctor, with the soonest appointment not being until November. I told them I appreciated the offer, but that it was incredibly unprofessional of them to cancel my appointment without notifying me and that I would prefer to look elsewhere. They then hung up on me. HIGHLY disappointed in this office and their lack of professionalism; if I had only known my appointment had been cancelled 2 months ago I would’ve rescheduled, whether it be with them or elsewhere, so that I wouldn’t be stuck waiting 2 more months to be seen. 0/10 recommend — avoid at all costs.

For me, hours show 8:00! Anyway: The last time I needed to call and the office was empty, a recorded message said try calling at a later/different time. If an emergency, call a ambulance immediately or go to the hospital.
