Melissa is always a very attentive waitress. I eat there most Saturdays and she is our waitress. The food is pretty good.

My husband and I thought we would try this place based on all of the nice reviews. We noticed a lot of the reviews mentioned the wonderful, attentive, kind, & friendly service. Well, we certainly didn't get that!! Rather we got a less than friendly greeting when we walked in. Then our server was less than thrilled to wait on us. Barely greeted us, and most definitely without a smile. Didn't get her name as she didn't bother to share it with us. We honestly felt like we annoyed her by being there. I asked for an omelette with Swiss and American (with extra cheese) and she plops down my plates with a flat, paper thin, omelette with 2 pieces of American cheese that looked like it still had the cellophane wrappers on it on TOP of the omelette and says that the cook forgot to add the cheese and she thinks the Swiss is inside but not sure. Oy!! She then gave us our check when we were only halfway thru our meal. Boy, she just couldn't wait to get rid of us, or at least that's certainly how she made us FEEL! It's a SERVICE job, try and remember that, please. We won't be back. Friendly service is everything to us!!!

I haven't eaten here in years. Even before the Tornado hit. So this is basically my first time here. I was surprised at the creative options on the menu. Found many things I wanted to try. Almost ordered the "Horse"... I was quite pleased with my meal. My kids ate till they were full. The dessert options are awesome. This place is definitely worth a drive into the country.
