After getting lots of information and estimates from other dog fence companies we ultimately decided to go with Dog Guard and could not have been more pleased with the service. Chris listened to what I had to say about the personality of my dog and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. The install was easy and my dog caught on quickly and was trained very fast. Chris followed up to make sure the training was going well and that we were happy with everything. About a month after we had the fence installed, we had an incident where our neighbor's destructive 4 wheeler riding cut through the fence and it stopped working. When I called Chris in a panic, he was there to talk me through what the next steps were. We were able to located the break and Chris immediately provided us with a repair kit so that we could fix the fence ourselves. We would recommend Dog Guard to anyone looking for an electric dog fence for their dog. They are absolutely fabulous!

Hi Amanda! The fence's cost is based on how much property your looking to keep the dog in and how many dogs. Depending on your needs, we will use more or less wire. Also if you have more than one dog, each dog will have to wear a collar. Please call 845-527-2554 and we can give you an exact quote. :-)
Absolutely! With the Dog Guard Indoor Transmitter, you can set boundaries inside your home. Certain areas can be off limits to your dog - like litter boxes, expensive sofas, baby's rooms, or even the Christmas tree.
No, our system is not designed to hurt your dog. The need for correction (which is a static shock) will be minimal - often no more than two or three times. But it's unpleasant enough that your dog will not want to cross the flags we put around your property.
