I was Being Rushed off while unloading a coutch and box spring, being made aware of employees health problems making excuses for not helping and the employee was never even asked to help, told me move my truck to a different location beside dumpster, refured me to anouther location. “It is to my awareness that furniture items are acceptable hince the signs displayed on bins” note that only a couch and a box spring was taken there from my home less than 1.5 mile away and all this grief over just that. I do hope that this issue is resolved

The location of this convenience center serves the needs of Clarksville residents out on the rural areas of the city. Moreover, its proximity to Hwy 48 makes it an ideal location for people commuting to and from Nashville to recycle. Couple of things to keep in mind is they do not recycle freezer boxes, pizza boxes, Aluminum (siding, foil, pie pans), plate glass, light bulbs, ceramics, medicines, plastic bags, and all other plastics with no neck and not numbered 1 or 2. Recycling is an excellent way to help the environment and reduce waste. Conversely, if you need to dispose of electronic waste (TVs, computers, small electronics), cooking oil, latex paint, anti-freeze, and Freon containing appliances, please take them to the Landfill Convenience Center located on 3212 Dover Rd, Woodlawn

Questions & Answers

Well this convenience center buy aluminum cans?

Nope.

How much do they pay for plastic bottles and cans? is it per pound? Do they require each bottle be rinsed out before bagged? Is there a specific kind of bag I need to put cans and bottles in before recycling at this center?

They don't pay you to recycle. If you want to recycle, you put it in a bin and they hall it off.
