The best gumbo! The fried shrimp are excellent, too. Ask for Austin. He has taken great care of us. My Mom said it's the best food she can remember having.

Really disappointing. We came to this place after reading so many good reviews about it. When we came there was a 30 minutes line but we decided to wait. The food was below average, nothing like the food we have been eating in New orleans for the past few days. Felt very touristic and not authentic at all. I ordered a 21 dollars salad which was not fresh nor tasty. I would not recommend.

Superb food and wonderful service. Excellent restaurant layout and design. Too much mayo on the burger tho, but at the same time, not really the place you would order a burger at either lol

The red beans were of a consistency not of this world and made entirely of salt. The jambalaya was pure uncooked tomato pure with salt.

They do not offer live bands on Sundays at the moment. They do have intercom music. Im sure if you inquired for them to play some jazzy Sunday music they would be more than delighted to so if football is not playing loudly.
I've only been there once two days ago. I did not order the crab. The seafood gumbo was tasty however it hardly had any seafood in it nor did it have okra. Wasn't my kind of seafood gumbo. The fried oysters was excellent as well as the service. Somewhat pricey. I would go back and try something else on the menu.
They do offer outdoor seating. Upon arrival just tell the host you would like to sit outside and how many guest are in your party. You can choose your seating. The bar staff provide the service. I would call in advance to make sure there isn't a large crowd reserved for outside but it is normally first come first serve.
