These people are amazing and have fixed my old singers and my Kenmore’s.. They also sharpened my sissors. They have a great selection of machines new and used. They also have a place to donate quilt books and donate money to pick used patterns.. They also have lots of needles, thread and feet and tools for sewing and quilting..They would get 10 stars if I could give them that many!! They are well worth the drive!! Great people!!!!

I bought a used Bernina sewing machine from this shop and couldn’t be happier. I couldn’t afford a new one. They have a stellar reputation for quality, honesty and service. I got an excellent value on a high-end machine with an embroidery attachment. It is such a relief to be able to visit a certified Bernina shop nearby and even receive a demonstration on how to use and care for the machine. Usually, you have to ship the machine to a factory at your own expense to be serviced. I appreciate the personal connection and the fact that this business is locally owned. The staff are pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. I’m sewing all kinds of creations, including curtains and dresses for my granddaughter, on my Bernina now. I’m confident that it will last for many years. I highly recommend Penn Yan Sewing Machines.

I don't know the answer to that. I'm a customer who was helped with a treadle machine. If you call them, they can answer the question.
I'm not sure but I stopped in after speaking with a woman on the phone earlier in the week and asked her to help me with a treadle machine that same day. She helped right then so I didn't have to leave my machine. Maybe if you call and make that same kind of arrangement ahead of time, you won't have to leave it. They are very nice people to work with.
Penn Yan Sewjng Machines can recommend an expert to finish your quilt, but they don’t do sewing there at the shop. I’m sure there are many experienced quilters in their area, since it is a tradition there. They can give you a list of people and contact information.
