Interesting park. This place has incredible views and even a picnic area with enclosed play area for younger children. It also has a swimming area and lifeguard stands around the lake. Small playground makes this an ideal family location however it lacks more recreational activities. Boat dock is close to swimming area as well. Overall, it is Tranquil when boats are not out and is best for early morning or late afternoon visits. Also great for photography If that is your thing. Lots of birds and great views.

I remember begging my parents to bring me to Red Jacket when I was young. It use to be a wooden playset. The park now is friendly to users with disabilities and now a place my daughter asks me to take her!
