If you have on star acrivated hit the call onstar button ask on star to run a dianostic on your Tahoe if security system issue shows up ask them to see if they can reset iui t for you if not ask them if there are any diagnostic codes. Write them down then google the code along with your vehicle make model and year. I think i remember seeing this posted on a forum . The answers there said replace the steering colum.
