We camped here for 2 nights. It has really good things about it and really bad. We did have a good time there due to Chris our conductor on the train tour of the Buffalo. He was great, we really enjoyed him, the history and of course the Buffalo. The store, and the laundry facility are great also. The downside is the Senator's Steakhouse. Don't get me wrong it looks great, has great atmosphere. We went expecting to get a nice steak dinner after a long day of driving. Nope, didn't happen. We were told they had trouble with staffing, that's understandable being the times. We were told they had a buffet of burgers and tacos for $25.99. That it was great,, so ok that's what we eat. It was the sorriest excuse of a buffet we have ever had. They did have a good salad bar for $10.99. The main buffet consisted of a beef or Buffalo burger(not warm). Greasy chips, taco meat some toppings. No taco sauce. That's it....no veggies or fries nothing. Pretty steep for $25.99. As far as the campsites, they r very tight. Our awning almost touched our neighbors Trailer. It was clean.

We stayed at a cabin that overlooked the buffalo which was great and the cabin was cozy and clean. The on site restaurant was not the best and the service was slow /non existent and the food was just okay. The ranch itself was great and our two kids had a blast running around and looking at all of the animals. If we were to go again i would just skip the restaurant.

WOW! We happened upon this place in a brochure and are so grateful we did! Sofia was such a delight as our train guide. We got to see many different animals (even prairie dogs!). The bison feeding experience was truly magnificent. We travelled from California to Denver and feel so blessed that we were able make it up to Terry Bison Ranch! We will definitely be back and will recommend to all family and friends!

We came for a train ride to feed the Bison and for a family day out. Chris was the best conductor, kept us smiling and laughing the whole ride. He was very knowledgeable about both the ranch, the bison and about Wyoming. We had a blast- a very unique experience that all of my kids enjoyed! We will definitely tell people to come visit- and we will visit again- next time in summer! We ate lunch in the steakhouse and were very impressed with the friendly service and amazing food. This place is fantastic! A daimond in the rough!
