Why do I continually keep getting sewer gas every time I turn on a faucet in my home? It is down right disgusting and smelly. I'm considering selling my home due to the embarrassing smell.

Try turning your heat up to 160 on your water heater. That will kill any bacteria that may be in there. Leave it that way for a few days. Please be careful if you have child, so that they do not get burnt. See if that works and let us know. 573-696-3511

How is the water for PWSD #4 rated for hardness? Should I consider getting a water softener?

The hardness is 17-19. So very high. Many of our customers do have water softeners.
